Lebanon Mayor Huck Lewis makes it official as we welcome Indy Reads Boone County to its new office space in the Lebanon Public Library. Arc of Greater Boone County joins them in collaboration on an exciting new literacy initiative funded by the Community Foundation.

BOOST! Grants
The Lebanon Area Boys and Girls Club received a BOOST! grant from CFBC, allowing them to continue enabling young people to reach their potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

The Community Foundation of Boone County has dedicated $20,000 to fund teacher projects on www.donorschoose.org, up to the last $98. You can directly fund projects in your child or grandchild's classroom with as little as $5. Almost Home grants provide an easy and gratifying way to fund education in Boone County.
Read More »Scholarship Opportunity for Medical Students
The Community Foundation of Boone County is pleased to announce a new scholarship opportunity for students pursuing a medical degree. The Dr. Higgins Scholarship will be available for a student entering medical school in the fall of 2012. The scholarship is awarded from a fund established at the Community Foundation in memory of Dr. Otis C. and Blanche D. Higgins, and may be used at any medical school in the U.S. for a Boone or Tippecanoe County resident.
