CFBC Awards Grant for County Wide In-Service Community Foundation of Boone County

The Community Foundation of Boone County recently distributed $1,500 to support a county wide in-service on violence and aggression as well as sexual and physical abuse in youth. As more cases are being reported and recognized in Boone County, there is increased concern within the community. The one day workshop is designed to bring together Boone County adults who are directly or indirectly involved in working together limit the number of children who actually become victims. The Community Foundation of Boone County reviews proposals quarterly with the next deadline being March 15, followed by June 15, September 15 and December 15.
