CFBC Approves Grant to the P.H. Sullivan FoundationCommunity Foundation of Boone County |

The Community Foundation of Boone County recently approved a matching grant to the P.H. Sullivan Foundation in the amount of $3,400. The P.H. Sullivan Museum, genealogy library, and Munce Art Center plan to purchase a fire and security system for their facilities. By installing these systems, their current exhibits will be protected. In addition, more opportunities for traveling exhibits to be shown at the museum will become available with additional security.
Grants are made in the areas of education, youth, arts, human services and community development. The next deadline is December 15, 2002. The recipients of these awards will be notified after January 17, 2003. Future application deadlines are March 15, June 15 and September 15, 2003.
