Tablescapes 2009 Cancelled Community Foundation of Boone County

The Tablescapes event scheduled for April 20th and 21st, 2009 has been cancelled. Due to the current economic climate, the Tablescapes Committee and Women's Fund Board believes moving forward with the event this year is not feasible.

The needs of women and children continue and may increase in the coming year. The generous support the event has received at past Tablescapes events is greatly appreciated—the proceeds from the event have funded needed programs in Boone County. Recently, the Women's Fund donated $5000 to the Helping Hands Women's Shelter, a short term emergency shelter housing women and children who are victims of domestic violence, which will provide for needed resources. Please consider showing your support through a monetary donation to the Women's Fund.
