Funding is available for your good idea! ~ Fax it to us and get an answer fast!

What: Grants of up to $300 are available to local non-profit organizations and to public school teachers grades pre-K through 12 to enhance the arts in the community. Twenty grants will be awarded. This grant is for items/equipment that has long term impact: not just for one time use. Examples: microphones, sheet music, costumes, permanent backdrops, electronic equipment, etc. The purpose of this granting initiative is to enhance the availability of the performing and visual arts in Boone County through music, theatre, dance, and visual arts. Our goal is to allow teachers or non-profits to become creative without being hindered by cost.

Who: Any non-profit organization or public school teacher, Pre-K through grade 12, in Lebanon, Sheridan, Western Boone, and Zionsville school corporations is eligible to apply. Grants will be limited to one per non-profit or two per school.

How: We've made it easy! Simply fax in a description of your idea on non-profit organization's or school's letterhead, including the following information:

Deadline: Only faxed proposals between 8 am - 4 pm on October 1, 2007 will be considered ~ awards are limited.

Notification of approvals within two (2) weeks.
