Community Foundation of Boone County Continues Fatherhood Grant Initiative

Foundation will award up to $100,000 in grants to support Fatherhood programs in 2006

The Community Foundation of Boone County is proud to announce the continuation of its fatherhood grant initiative. The purpose of this initiative remains the same for 2006; "to improve the well being of Boone County's children by increasing the proportion of children growing up with involved, responsible and committed fathers."

Nonprofit and faith-based organizations in Boone County are invited to apply for a grant from the Foundation to support programs that encourage responsible, engaged fatherhood.

All of the forms needed to apply are now available on the Foundation's web site or by contacting the office at 60 East Cedar Street in Zionsville.

If your organization is interested in applying, please contact Lisa John, the executive director of the Foundation at 317-873-0210 or 765-482-0024 prior to the proposal preparation and submission to review options available for award.

The deadline for the 2006 Fatherhood Initiative proposals is Friday, June 16, 2006 at 4 pm at the Community Foundation of Boone County's office.

The Community Foundation of Boone County provides pathways for connecting people who care with causes that matter for now and in the future.
