WHO: HELPING HER HEAL FUND Charity Polo Match
Presented by: The Breast Care Center of Indiana
WHAT: A Family-Friendly Fun-Filled day in the country to honor, compassionately serve and support women with gynecological cancers financially and emotionally.
Polo is a game played by two teams of four players on horseback who are equipped with long-handled mallets for driving a small wooden ball through the opponents' goal.
WHY: Cancer, particularly breast and cervical cancer, is the main cause of death for women aged 35 to 64 years. In order for women to persevere through the challenge that cancer presents, the emotional, spiritual and/or financial needs must be met. With the support of generous donors and the Helping Her Heal Fund women can find solace, support and strength of mind throughout their journey of hope and healing.
