Come to the first annual golf outing in memory of Pete Paddock on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at Zionsville Golf Course. For 38 years, Pete was a teacher and an administrator in the Zionsville School system. He had a love of teaching and made a positive influence in the lives of many children and parents within the community. In addition to being a valued educator, he was an avid golfer.
His friends and family are hosting this memorial golf outing. The proceeds from the outing will go to the Charles "Pete" Paddock Scholarship which was established at the Community Foundation of Boone County in 2005. A senior athlete at ZCHS will receive this scholarship annually. The recipient, like Pete, will exhibit a positive spirit, strength of character, integrity, great attitude, exceptional work ethic, community involvement and good sportsmanship.
Form a four team member scramble. Up to 18 teams will start at 8:30 a.m. and 18 teams will begin at 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be served from noon until 1:30 p.m. Cost is $50 per person. Entry fee includes golf, cart, lunch and cash awards.
