Enrollment: Any accredited* public or private college, university, technical or vocational school, or graduate degree program

Special Characteristics:
  1. Member of the ZCHS Vocal Music Program for at least 3 years
  2. Exhibit qualities of scholarship, leadership, hard work, and responsibility in pursuing/developing musicianship

Minimum GPA: As determined from above
Written Essay: Yes (see specifics below)
References: 2—one from a teacher and one from a person in the community

  2. 2 letters of recommendation (one teacher, one  community) attesting to applicant’s work ethic, leadership ability, and musical scholarship,
  3. Essay (see below)

Note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Essay to Include: One page essay that tells how your experience in vocal music has contributed to your personal growth and will help you in the future.
Selection By: Committee Composition:

(Members of the committee cannot have a child in contention for the scholarship)
