Requirements / Selection Criteria

Residency: Boone County, Indiana
Diploma: High school senior graduating in good standing from a public school, private school or home school
Enrollment: Any accredited* public or private college, university, technical or vocational school, or graduate degree program
*(Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.)
Specialized Study:  No—any major or undeclared major
Special Characteristics: No
Special Preference: Preference will be given to Family Music Studio students if the selection results in a tie.
Financial Need: No
Minimum GPA: 2.5 out of 4.0

Finalist Interview: No

    Recommendation by someone who has known applicant for at least two years and can comment on applicant’s involvement in music
  4. Essay

Members of Family Music Studio’s owner’s family are not eligible for this scholarship.

Note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  • Describe your past experiences as a musician and your plans to remain active musically. Committee will be looking for dedication to an active musical life and a commitment to serving the community musically.
  • Format: Typed, single spaced
  • Maximum Length: One page
