Requirements / Selection Criteria

Residency: Boone County, Indiana
Diploma: Boone County high school
Enrollment: Any accredited* public or private Indiana college or university
*(Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.)
Specialized Study: No
Special Characteristics: It is the Higgins Family hope that the recipient of this scholarship will treat the sums advanced to him/her as a moral obligation to be at least partially repaid as he/she is able to do so — so that this scholarship may continue to grow and be available for future students.
Special Preference: Financial need and academic performance
Financial Need: Yes—Provide a completed College Cost Estimator and Boone County release form (PDF 388K) in a sealed envelope and return it to the guidance department.
Minimum GPA: 2.5 (4.0 system)

  5. College Cost Estimator and Boone County release form (PDF 388K) in sealed envelope.
