Background

Established By: Marjorie Stonehill for students who want to pursue careers in the fields of English, Journalism or the Creative Arts. During her lifetime, she was able to achieve her own college experience through the help of scholarships and wanted to assist other Boone County students in a similar manner. Marjorie had been a long time resident of Zionsville and passed away in January of 2007.

Diploma: Western Boone, Zionsville High School, Lebanon High School or Sheridan High School
Enrollment: Any accredited* public or private college or university
*(Accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.)
Specialized Study: English, Journalism, or Creative Arts
Special Characteristics: No
Special Preference: No
Financial Need: Yes
Minimum GPA: 3.0 (4.0 system) and top 30% of class
