| Nomination Process: | ZCHS athletic director distributes a criteria/nomination form to each varsity sport head coach. The coaches make their nominations and return the forms to the athletic director. The high school principal reviews the name to insure that each nominee 1. plans to continue his/her educaton after high school graduation and 2. is a student in good standing with the school. |
| Selection By: | The athletic director compiles a voting form containing a master list of all nominees which is distributed to the head coaches, principal and athletic director. The recipient of this award is selected by majority vote. The name is forwarded to The Communtity Foundation of Boone County Board of Directors for final approval. |
