  • Turkey Foot/Lefbo - these 21 acres of Nature Park were acquired in 1995 and 2000, but are inaccessible without a footbridge across Eagle Creek. The current project includes a pathway along Turkey Foot to interconnect with our pathway system. The project is estimated at $910,000.
  • Mulberry Fields - includes 38 acres of land and an historic farmhouse and related structures. This project is designed to be a major outdoor recreational venue for our community. Included in the plans are multiple playing fields, nature areas, a sledding hill, biking trails, basketball, picnic areas and more. It is also proposed that the farmstead be developed as a living museum. This project is estimated at $3.7 to $4.8 million without provision for the farmstead. The range in amount recognizes that final cost will depend on the quality and number of elements included in the final design. The estimate for the cost of rehabilitation and preparation of the farmstead is $500-750,000.
  • American Legion Trail Crossing - envisions a contemplative area with gardens, monolithic stones, monuments, and a stone arch adjacent to the Rail Trail that will be a memorial to the residents of our community who served their country. This project is estimated at $300,000.
