2020 SERIES
The Community Foundation of Boone County is excited to announce this new program! Our Boone County nonprofit organizations told us they want more professional development opportunities and more opportunities to gather together, connect, and collaborate with other nonprofits. We took that in and created the Boone County Nonprofit Network. Quarterly programs will consist of 3 components:
- Free lunch
- Intentional networking: Designed for the nonprofit organizations to truly learn more about what each other is doing, obstacles being faced, and upcoming plans and new initiatives.
- Professional development: We have partnered with Boone County experts in different areas who will come and share with attendees the best practices for each of the areas.
“We are extremely blessed to have such an amazing number of nonprofit organizations who are serving others in our Boone County communities”, said Jodi Gietl, President & CEO for the Community Foundation of Boone County. “Bringing them together to network, while empowering and educating them will elevate the services offered. The more we all come together and collaborate, the bigger the impact we will make…collectively.”
WHO CAN ATTEND
Each Boone County-serving 501(c)(3) organization is able to send up to two staff, board members, or volunteers. Due to space and food, RSVPs are required for each program. WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND
Attendees will gain a current understanding of what’s going on in the Boone County nonprofit sector. These programs are designed for you to walk away from each session with action items on how you can improve and enhance your nonprofit organization.
