Post Graduate Scholarships

Allen F. Wharry Memorial Scholarship

2021 Application Deadline is May 3. For students who have completed at least one year of law school at the Robert H. McKinney School of Law at Indiana University, Indianapolis.

DR. HIGGINS SCHOLARSHIP

Click here to apply! For students who have been accepted into an accredited medical school and who attended high school or have lived in either Boone or Tippecanoe County. The amount of the scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year renewable for up to four years. It is awarded from a fund established at the Community Foundation in memory of Dr. Otis C. and Blanche D. Higgins, and may be used at any medical school in the U.S. The virtual interview date for eligible finalists for the 2021 process will be on Monday, June 14 in the afternoon.

 

Current College Students

BOONE COUNTY AGRICULTURE SCHOLARSHIP FOR CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENTS

Recipients of this award will be directly notified in May 2021. Open to current college students who are majoring in Agriculture or an Agriculture related field and who’s permanent residency is in Boone County.

 

Non-Boone County High School Students

VERLYN (JAY) MARTIN VOCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP

Recipients of this award will be directly notified in May 2021. In addition to students at LHS, WeBo and ZHS, students at Tri-West Hendricks County High School are eligible for this scholarship. This scholarship is for senior students who will enter an accredited vocational, trade or technical school.

 

WASHBURN SCHOLARSHIP

Recipients of this award will be directly notified in May 2021. Applicant must attend a Tippecanoe County high school, reside in Tippecanoe County, pursue a major in agriculture, home economics (family and consumer sciences), or pre-medicine, and exhibit financial need.
